Based upon our discussions, the project consultant will provide an approximate investment range for the work that has been designed. This is the total cost of the project based upon whether you agree to move forward. “What is your investment range?” If you have never remodeled before, it can leave you feeling uncertain. We invite you to view our approximate investment ranges listed on our website. The ranges are provided based upon our years of experience. This will allow you to have a realistic idea of what can be accomplished within the investment range, giving us the opportunity to have a productive conversation and less confusion.

Carefully considering your vision, pain points, and goals, we develop thoughtful design solutions. We offer conceptual floor plans, where the design vision drives the investment. You only want to do this once, you want it right, and you want it to withstand the test of time. The investment range may not match what you had in mind, but it will be accurate for the scope of work requested. If the cost is more than the available funds we may recommend waiting. The down side of this is that material costs often rise. You may consider financing options or we can discuss other options where the available budget guides the design.

This will involve 4+meetings at trusted vendor design showrooms. You will make selections based upon quality of materials as well as availability.

This part of the process can be very overwhelming for some, leaving them feeling unsure of their choices. We will hold your hand through every step, giving you the confidence to finalize your choice. We will regularly meet to review mood boards, drawings, samples, and go over the plans. We will review allowances vs. actual cost of your selections and adjust accordingly. We will work through any hesitation you may have in order to finalize your selections. For larger scope projects, we include the opportunity to “Walk Your Plans.” Once we are in the final stages, we utilize a local service to physically walk through your drawings to get a real feel of scale in your new home.

Meet our team of trade partners. We will meet at your home to go over the plan. Obstacles to our design will be evaluated, solutions proposed, and pricing solidified. Your final selections may affect one or all trades. For instance, an illuminated medicine cabinet vs standard mirror will call for the electrician to install wiring, opening up walls/soffits as necessary. Our goal is to eliminate surprises BEFORE we begin, give you an accurate price so that you can feel confident your project is moving forward with a solid plan.

Behind the scenes activity is performed by our team. We begin ordering all materials, tracking their ETAs, communicating possible delays, giving you an option to reselect, or enduring the delay if needed. We visually inspect the condition of boxed materials as they arrive. We store at our showroom, ready for the project to begin. We take care of scheduling deliveries and meeting deliveries for inspection, so you can enjoy whatever is happening in your day. We ensure all city registrations are current and handle the submission of all permitting required for your specific project. Permit approvals, material lead time and client preparedness will also determine your start date. Progress will be communicated to you throughout the entire process.
